Collage Painting

Completed in October 2021, this oil painting is based off of a collage I made about a month prior. I used pictures of nature and pictures of artworks and sculptures made by other students found in an art magazine. I used a wide range of colors, from black and white and muted colors to bright blues Andy oranges. I enjoyed using a painterly style of brushstrokes in the background, contrasted with areas of intricate details and textures.
